about me
Mission Statement:
To explore possibilities through collaboration and design a product that satisfies and inspires.
It is merging creative inspiration with practical application.
The day I accidentally fell into an I.T. job was the day that changed my life’s trajectory into learning and embracing creative technology. I learned everything I could (thanks to the internet) and put it to use whenever possible in the workplace. In Media Services I learned Adobe Creative Suite, starting with Photoshop and Premiere Pro. It never ceases to amaze me that no matter how much I think I have mastered Adobe, there is always more to learn. I also learned to film and edit, and then soon was livestreaming college events. I discovered this fascinating domino effect: the more equipment/technology you use, the better the production, but also a lot more problem-solving. Challenge accepted! I then threw that same creative energy into the library by striving to make more creative technology available to students by establishing a Maker Space and Virtual Reality lab. I have freelanced filming farm-to-table community recipes as well as capturing the stories of successful entrepreneurs. Through all this, I rediscovered my passion for design and visual communication and so began my journey in pursuing Graphic Design and User Experience. I love this! So much to learn! Working with so many different skilled individuals in various environments has been inspiring. I believe that we all have skills to share. Imagine the possibilities. Let’s collaborate!
